Punjab Engineering Co. was established in 1961 with a manufacturing unit of Power Looms and Chuff Cutter with Trade Mark “KING” . Ch. Ghulam Qadir, founder of the company worked very hard for the development of the company. In a very short time it became the largest supplier of power looms in the country. In 1989, Ch. Ghulam Qadir separated his business and Ch. Shaukat Ali became the sole proprietor of the company. The company expanded its products with the addition of KNAP SACK SPRAYER, CHUFF CUTTER, SEED DRILLS, ROTAVATOR, BOOM SPRAYER, REDGERS etc throughout the country. Now the company is one of the largest supplier, well reputed and manufacturer of agricultural implements and prime specialist of Thresher and Rotavator. It has its own foundry. The company in equipped with latest machinery and use modern technology for the said implements. In 1995, the company introduced Multi Thresher for Wheat, Grams and Vegetable beans etc. Its quality was tested and verified by Pakistan’s Leading Agriculture Research Institute like Ayyub Agriculture Research Institute Faisalabad and FMI (Farm Machinery Institute Islamabad). The company has its own outlets all over the country and has its branches in Faisalabad, Okara, Multan, Bahawalpur, Liaqatpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Sadiqabad along with about 250 authorized dealers in all over Pakistan. The company strictly believes in standardized quality and customer satisfaction. The company has gained waste experience of about 46 years in this field. The company has achieved the Export Quality in all our products and also certified with ISO (International Standard Organization). Recently, the company has introduced the Rice Thresher in collaboration with Farm Machinery Institute, NARC Ministry of Food and Agriculture Islamabad.
